Avengers Set Update! Possible minor spoilers?

So yeah this is most definitely not going to be long. Tons of photos from the set of the Avengers: (More after the pics!)

WHAT?!?!

Citizens running out of Jewelry store (below). Stating they were looking up at a ship that would be added on in CGI.

So those are the most appealing set pics. Apparently Thor and Black Widow have not filmed in Cleavland yet, they are going to be doing so within the coming weeks. Samuel L Jackson has allegedly finished filming in both sets of Sandusky and Cleavland Ohio.

All Heroes needed

There have been a ton of set photos leaked from both Avengers and Dark Knight Rises sets. Plus an official photo from Man of Steel.

A Skrull Weapon?

We'll start with the Avengers, they've been in two different places so far this month. Over in Cleavland, Ohio they've been turning downtown into NYC. Blowing stuff up, and blowing more stuff up. There have been many Youtube videos of the destruction uploaded already. Still no official confirmation of who the rest of the villains are but from a leaked set photo it shows some type of hi-tech gun which looks pretty alien and then there is a guy in one of those CGI costumes, so this would lead MORE into the assumption that the Skrulls are going to be fighting the Avengers. They were also confirmed to be at NASA filming there, Jeremy Renner/Clint Barton/Hawkeye was apparently/rumored to be spotted entering/leaving the facility.

Explosions, Military Police, Panic, Explosions.

Dark Knight Rises has gotten a bunch of leaks this whole month which probably has Christopher Nolan extremely pissed. He should probably get a "security team" like Joss Whedon "has" for the Avengers or maybe just revamp a downtown that is similar to the location of the set but not a populated (i.e. Cleavland). We finally got our first look at Anne Hathaway as Cat Woman, and I gotta say...not bad Nolan. There has also been a photo of the Bat-Wing posted, looks like a flying Tumbler honestly.

PREDICTION SPOLIER ALERT

So for Thor's arrival, I'm thinking that the cosmic cube will come into play...They will successfully bring Thor back and Loki will see this and see that his only opportunity to take the cube is to turn himself in...then he summons the Skrulls to Earth. It definitely seems as if there is a love angle between Black Widow and Hawkeye from the clip. I think that Cap will have trouble trying to adjust and will make it so that he is going to "choke" the beginning of the first mission.

Rockin' the triangle?

So a lot of buzz stirring up around for The Avengers now. First off the Hulk situation. Kevin Fiege, in an interview, said that he will be the same hulk, about nine feet tall, and will represent Mark Ruffalo as much as possible. Also HE IS WEARING PANTS! For goodness sake people, look closely at the picture, you can see the pants! The next filming location for The Avengers will be landing in Cleavland, Ohio...what's with the unpopular city locations Joss? I have also attached a number of stills from the teaser (no whinning about spoilers, it's been a week, if you haven't seen it by now...you're a failure!)

Spider-Man trailer (above) was released, and a new poster. The trailer was barely anything, it might as well have been just a video showing the cast. So as to how the film will be, well Mark Webb you're gonna have to step it up a little bit. The film is set to release July 3rd next summer (I am unsure as to why Marvel would put their epic masterpiece before The Amazing Spider-Man). Also, Edgar Wright has apparently submitted a second draft for an Ant-Man film, will update as it progresses. Marvel has reacquired rights to the Punisher and Blade. Last, in Marvel news, there have been some photos from the sequel of Ghost Rider, Spirit of Vengeance released, looks pretty good.

Dark Knight Rises has been stirring up a lot of news lately...mainly from the teaser that was released (above) (I know I'm a little late on that and Spidey, just so pumped for the Avengers) and new photos of Tom Hardy as Bane. Zack Snyder's adaptation of Superman, Man of Steel was pushed back from its original release date, unknown reasons as to why either. Makes you wonder if that film is going to even happen. Reports have been stirring up for a Green Lantern sequel, although I would be super surprised if it even happened considering the bad reviews it got (have yet to see the film myself though). Some of them are official and other, not so official. They also released some more official posters for the film.

Star Trek got a little tidbit of news this week, mainly that J.J. has a green light for the project, but no official release date. Though filming is reported to begin January 2012. Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows had it's first trailer released, it's quite entertaining to say the least, although no sign of Rachel McAdams who is reported to be reprising her role as Irene Adler. Avengers....You're up

So i know it has been awhile but i do have a ton of news so lets get started...

Watched the premier of Captain America and I must say it was....SO AMAZING! That being said lets break it down. The movie does stay true to the comics, Chris Evans and company did a fantastic job, and Joe Johnson gives you one hell of a ride. Though many trailers and clips may have given you and I a few spoilers it wasn't enough for it to ruin the movie whatsoever, all that you thought about the spoilers could in fact be wrong, considering I was so surprised during the whole film. At the end of the film you do see the Captain in present day and I will leave you at that. You should also check out the Cap website for more fun!

But you all must have heard the even more awesome news about what comes after the credits of Captain America: TFA...The first official, legit, epic Avengers teaser trailer was shown. The trailer was probably one of the best teasers I've seen to this day. I will not say anything about the trailer since as soon as it is out i will post it. Also in Avengers news, characters have gotten individual posters. They are i must say pretty cool and as you can see they made one huge banner. You can see that Johansson is rockin' the short hair, Iron Man has a circular chest piece again, Hulk isn't pant-less, Caps new suit, and Hawkeye has a SHIELD suit.
The Amazing Spider-Man trailer was released a few days ago and it was alright. Also the Dark Knight Rises teaser was officially released and it was pretty awesome too even though most of it was from the last two Nolan Batman films.

Now that comic-con is officially over all the news is coming out about Marvel's future. With possibility of Hulk solo TV series, Ant-Man movie, Nick Fury solo films, Wolvering filming in October, future of X-Men, Daredevil back on track, and Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengence set pics. Once they start getting more in depth about each one I will be sure to update.

And I guess we are done, so go see Captain America it is amazing! I personally am going to be seeing it at least three more times in theaters.

This is gonna be quick....

There has been a "leaked photo" of a Conceptual Art photo for the avengers. I honestly don't think/hope that this is real. There have been a lot of misunderstanding and disliked reviews of the photo. The main one being a pant-less hulk, but the thing is, HE'S NOT PANT-LESS! If you look closely between Cap and Thor and right above Iron Man's hang you can see he is wearing black shorts. So I don't know why everyone is going crazy and how they could've missed that. Also fanboys are disagreeing with Hawkeye's costume. They wanted him to be in purple. WELL RIGHT FROM THE GET GO WHEDON STATED THAT HE WAS GOING TO MAKE HIS COSTUME BLACK WITH LIKE A MAROONISH COLOR! Who the heck wants to see a grown man running around dressed in purple anyway. Also (something i somewhat like) is Iron Man's suit is different (color-wise) you can see some more silver/grey on the shoulders, but what i don't like is the circular chest piece again; wish they would've stuck with the triangular. Finally, Caps costume looks just about exact with the comics, but instead of the wings on his helmet coming all the way out they look to be as if they are protruding out. The red gloves and boots, the lightish blue (not exactly what i was hoping for) and his white and red stripes.

While we are on the subject of Cap, there has been a retro poster released and some USO photo's leaked. The retro poster is really awesome (wish i could get my hands on one...or a dozen), and as you can see it is much like the first issue of Captain America. I am unsure of the quality/reliability of the USO photo's seeing as how they look to be "scanned" from a magazine (or something of the sort) and not actually printed. Also I don't like it. They look too weird, dumb, and corny....and that is "glazing it."

Yeah I know....

I know I haven't been on in awhile (mainly cause of finals and summer starting off great). But i have a TON of news!

Captain America:

So I'm pretty f'n excited to see this movie! They came out with a bunch of stuff since i last posted. Mainly FIVE new TV spots. I would think that they would most likely show it during the NBA finals of Stanley Cup championship, but who knows. They also came out with 3 new character posters of the main characters: Peggy Carter (Atwell), Captain America (Evans), and Red Skull (Weaving). Plus more "film" posters? Anyway you can find all that jazz on this entry.

Thor:
The movie was too damn fantastic. I couldn't have asked for a better performance from Chris Hemsworth and company, but you probably already knew that since it's been out for almost a month. BUT! If you haven't: CHECK IT OUT DAMMIT! ITS A GREAT MOVIE! Also make sure to stay after the credits!
But apparently they are in the works of a second movie already, one that director, Kenneth Branagh, is aware of. They haven't released anymore information though.

The Dark Knight Rises:
There has been a photo released! Tom Hardy's bad mother lover character, Bane, has been shown and yes he is wearing the gimp. The production began just a few weeks ago and is still set to release July 2012.

The Avengers
Not much, maybe nothing actually, going on with the Avengers. This is due to the fact that Whedon has kept the team in Albuquerque since they started shooting. Although they did get yet another villian, Thanos...more on that as it develops i guess.

That's it for now, this is mainly an article just to make you realize that I'm still running the site. Oh and one more thing, BEWARE FOR THE HANGOVER PART 2! It's amazing though.
